Qualitative, observational techniques for early conceptual design, iterative prototypes, and product deployment:
     Data collection includes notes, sketches, audio and video recordings, and digital photography.  Analysis is qualitative and grounded.

As needed, Sara Bly Consulting will bring together a group of colleagues to work collaboratively, incorporating practice in ethnography, contextual inquiry, grounded theory, participatory design, cognitive analysis, information and interaction design and analysis.  This includes methods such as surveys and interviews and unobtrusive observations, critical evaluation of existing systems and situations, simulated walkthroughs of proposed redesigns, brainstorming, and focus groups.
